Please join us on March 19 at 6:00 p.m. at The International School of Minnesota (6385 Beach Road in Eden Prairie) for StarPower. Because players cannot jump in after the game has begun, we strongly urge you to arrive at ISM a few minutes early. A light supper will be served after the game.
StarPower is a non-computerized, simulation game where participants have the opportunity to progress from one level of society to another by acquiring wealth. Once the society is established, the group with the most wealth is given the right to make the rules for the game. This is a thought provoking experience for most players and gives them a chance to think about the use and abuse of power in society. The most unique feature of StarPower is the strength of the impression it makes on the participants. Players of StarPower may get a sense of what the characters in The Hunger Games experienced.
