Hunger Games Recap
We were excited by the response to the 2012 Eden Prairie Reads book choice The Hunger Games (2008) by Suzanne Collins. We held our big event on March 19. It included an activity (Star Power Simulation Game) as well as panel discussion. Over 150 people attended and we collected approximately 200 lbs. of food to donate to PROP, the food shelf! We appreciate your participation and generosity. Here are photos from the event.
What’s Next
The Eden Prairie Reads committee will ramp up soon to pick a book and plan activities for 2013. We invite you to participate on the committee! Check the Get Involved page for meeting times and locations. We will begin the selection process for our next book by asking anyone who is interested to email us your book ideas. Or simply join as at the Eden Prairie Library at 5:30 p.m. on May 9th.
